Honey Bees Early Learning Center

Honey Bee's Early Learning Center is a nurturing and safe environment where your child will feel respected, loved, and secure. Our classrooms offer a prepared environment in which students explore, create, and interact socially. Our aim is to develop a love of learning through play and to elicit a desire for exploration and discovery. Play-based learning emphasizes sensory, social interaction, and positive communication. Academic concepts such as numeracy, early reading and writing skills, and math and science concepts are introduced through play and project-based learning activities. We incorporate play-based learning activities in our outdoor classrooms twice a day, in 45 minute blocks. These learning activities include sensory experiences, character and relationship building experiences, arts and crafts, and practical life skills. Our teachers at Honey Bee's ELC are experienced facilitators, nurturers, and partners in your childs learning process. Learning becomes a collaborative process as we seek to balance teacher direction and children's freedom of choice.
