Apple Blossom Childcare

Apple Blossom Childcare (ABC) believes in the philosophy that young children learn best through play and exploration. Our program offers a custom designed curriculum that blends staff-directed and child-led developmentally appropriate activities that encourage social emotional learning, early academic skills and independent life skills. Our program places a strong emphasis on supporting the whole child. All children need ample time and opportunities to engage and develop all of their 7 senses, which helps them reach critical developmental milestones. Children must first learn to integrate their 7 senses as well as develop their fine and gross motor skills, before they can develop their early academic skills. For this reason, play is the priority at ABC, especially unstructured, child-led play. Playing outdoors is also crucial for a child’s overall development and mental health. Due to the small enrollment and multi-aged classroom, chidren are given the time and space to grow, develop and learn at their own pace, thus establishing an early sense of self-confidence and self-esteem.
