North Side Nursery School

Dedicated to a warm and caring approach to the intellectual, physical and emotional development of young children. We support each child's right to be treated as an individual and allow the child to develop and proceed within out program at his/her own speed without regard to race, religion, cultural heritage or ability. Our setting is in an antique red barn on historic Route 6A contains 2 classrooms designed specifically for North Side. It is filled with wonderful assortment of blocks, manipulatives, housekeeping, dramatic play, science, books, and art equipment. Our deep backyard with tall trees, climbing equipment, riding toys, swings, and a mud kitchen. There is plenty of room for all to run, run, and run. Our Program: is designed to meet and foster the developing learning and social skills of preschool children. We adhere to Massachusetts guidelines for developmentally appropriate curriculum, based on various themes presentd throughout the year. At planning meetings learning skills dramatic play, books, art activities, and snack time are cued to the themes to maximize the children's involvement.
