For 45 plus years, our center has been serving the community by providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for the children entrusted to our care. Under the watchful eyes of our well-trained, dedicated staff, your child can explore, learn, and grow in ways that support the whole child. In addition to ensuring that each child is happy and healthy, at Martin Luther King Youth Center we also take it as our mission to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive in our "daycare as a second home" environment. The center has experienced and knowledgeable staff. to assist children with homework. The staff has been trained on engaging and stimulating programs. the fee is based on a sliding fee scale very affordable for parents in need of the services. The MLKYC provides a comprehensive after school & summr camp that includes. pick up from schools, dinner, homework assistance and drop off in the evening. During summer MLKYC offers, transportation, meals, field trips and many learning opportunities.
