At Rising Sun, it is our mission to use research-based best practices and quality standards to implement and support the best possible outcome for each child's learning and development. Our qualified educators facilitate learning through positive and responsive relationships, intentional planning within play-based learning centers, customized student goals, ongoing assessment, as well as family collaboration and engagement. Our curriculum framework utilizes the Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards and promotes positive learning experiences that are personalized, meaningful, relevant, culturally responsive, and inclusive. All within developmentally appropriate environments, students are provided with time and opportunities to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and learn within each developmental domain (health/physical, social/emotional, language/communication, approaches to learning, and cognitive/general knowledge). t Rising Sun, we focus on the whole child approach, reflect and assess our program standards regularly, continue staff development and education annually, and continue to advocate for the families we serve.
